Jeremy Okawa, PGA (Owner/Instructor)

Jeremy Okawa has been in the golf business for the last 23 years.  He has worked as an PGA Assistant Professional, Director of Instruction, and PGA Head Golf Professional.  Jeremy started playing golf at the young age of 3 and has never stopped since.  The reason he got into the business was to give back to a sport that has meant so much to him.
During his time he has had the opportunity to work with numerous celebrities, touring pros, top senior amateurs, prep stars, and college players.  Under his watch a lot of these players have gone on to win some of the top tournaments in their categories.  He also started the Jeremy Okawa Golf Academy at Alondra golf course where some of the beginning kids have blossomed into the top juniors in the world.  Watching the success of his players is what keeps him motivated to make you the best you can be.
Jeremy does not believe there is one way to swing a golf club, but a proper way for your ability and body type.  Although he might work with some of the elite players, he knows some of his students just want to be able to enjoy the game.  Every students swing will be tailored to give them the best opportunity to succeed on the golf course.  With the advancement of video analysis and launch monitors he feels that all of the data provided will just enhance the learning experience and help students understand the swing more.

Dan Zimring, Instructor

Dan was born into a golfing family and started playing at the age of 5. He gave his first golf lesson to his grandpa when he was 10 years old and has never stopped trying to learn about the game of golf and the golf swing.
After playing college golf at The University of Maryland Dan turned pro and returned to Southern California to pursue a career in golf. After teaching at The Lakes at El Segundo for 24 years Dan moved his teaching practice to Precision Golf in March of 2021 and has taken full advantage of all the facility has to offer to his students. Precision is a premier learning and practice environment and Dan is thrilled to call it home.
Dan believes that there is a path to improvement for every player and that path is one that the teacher and student discover together. Dan has helped players of all experience levels and ability and he looks forward to helping you on your golf journey….wherever you’d like it to take you.

Scott B. Rose, Instructor

Golf was among the many sports already being played from an early age, but it was not until 2008 that his passion and enthusiasm for golf took over as a career endeavor.  Beginning with TGA in an after school instructor role and coinciding with the SCPGA, Junior League as Tour Field Representative, his work in the golf industry began in earnest.  He made stops with the AT&T Champions Classic and would go on to be the Assistant General Manager at Chester Washington in South Los Angeles.
Taking advantage of the opportunity to meet and talk to some of the top Directors of Golf and Head Pros – Scott took the advice to ‘do what you love’ and began work as a Golf Instructor.  Eventually coming to work for Jeremy Okawa, PGA at Alondra Golf Course and under his guidance, Scott began to fine tune his skills as an instructor with the Jeremy Okawa Golf Academy.  During the same period he would add to his golf experience and learn golf club repair, club building and fitting.  Coaching the Alondra PGA Junior League team and running summer camps and Junior Clinics would become the best way to positively influence the next generation of young golfers. Watching players that he worked with go on to play in high school and college would become its own reward.
Continuing to work with a professional as respected as Jeremy at Precision Golf Center in Torrance, Scott continues to work with Juniors privately. His philosophy continues to be that “You are never too young to begin learning the great game of golf – but you are never too old either.”
